This was the day that the full impact of the Elon Musk and SpaceX goal of landing a rocket back on earth after an orbital launch become real to me. I believe it’s a significant turning point in our human history and the race to space.
That’s why the new InsideInnovation logo, after many test, learn, fail, repeat cycles is based on the time lapse trajectory of this historic flight. After many explosions, and failure on a massive and public scale, I can’t think of a better representation of innovation in action.
Real innovation, not short-term innovation theatre as we so often see.
Here’s how the logo developed
Step 1: Wait for SpaceX to Launch and land a rocket
Step 2: Find Time lapse of the event
Step 3: Render the precise trajectory
Step 4: Add some Dylan Jones Magic and voilà — a logo appears
Thank you for the logo, Elon.
